About this role

Position Overview

This team delivers operational training programs across the health system, including onboarding, operational workflows, clerical systems, compliance education, and ongoing staff development. This role supports consistent, effective, technology-enabled training aligned with departmental workflows and organizational priorities.
The Trainer promotes training quality, standardization, operational readiness, and continuous improvement while helping staff build confidence with key systems, workflows, and digital tools.

Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery & Program Support
  • Deliver operational training for new hires and existing staff, including onboarding, workflow education, refresher training, and system-related instruction.
  • Partner with leaders, supervisors, and subject matter experts to identify training needs and support standardized curriculum, workflows, job aids, and training plans.
  • Support delivery and maintenance of training for clerical operational workflows across assigned departments or locations.
  • Work with system administrators and operational leaders to update training materials for system changes, upgrades, and new functionality.
  • Participate in training readiness activities for implementations, go-live events, workflow changes, and operational transitions.
  • Track training attendance, support competency validation, gather learner feedback, and provide follow-up assistance as needed.

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

  • Two (2) years patient access or registration experience

Preferred:

  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field
  • Experience in training or staff development in healthcare operations, customer service, or a related support role.
  • Experience delivering dynamic in-person, remote, and technology-supported presentations.
  • Experience with Epic/EHR workflows, Microsoft 365, learning platforms, reporting tools, or other operational technology preferred.
