Texas Instruments is seeking an (RF) Engineering Technician to join our team in Advanced Technology Development - Device Characterization Lab. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and gain expertise in a wide range of test and measurement equipment and to develop new technical skills in an exciting development environment. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Technical functions in support of engineering activities such as on-wafer RF/DC/Pulse characterization of components during process development, SPICE modeling and new measurement development.  Supporting Load-pull and RF noise figure on-wafer characterization up to 70GHz.
  • Applications may include analog, RF, high-speed digital technology components, ESD (TLP) characterization and wafer testing under mechanical stress.
  • Work with test chip layouts, diagrams, written, and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
  • Conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect technology data or assist in research work.
  • Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
  • Supporting equipment readiness, calibration, lab safety and compliance.
