What you'll do

  • Lead redesign activities for End-of-Life (EOL) components in RF Test & Measurement products to extend product lifecycle, maintain product availability, and support continued business growth.
  • Redesign and validate circuits across analog, power supply, RF, and microwave domains, including both discrete and IC-based designs.
  • Evaluate and qualify alternative components while minimizing impact to hardware architecture, software functionality, and product calibration requirements.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing teams to incorporate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) improvements that enhance product quality, yield, and reliability.
  • Develop proof-of-concept (POC) designs and prototypes to validate redesign approaches and gain technical approval from RF domain experts.
  • Support PCB layout reviews and contribute to filter, analog, and RF circuit design improvements.
  • Perform root cause analysis for issues identified during verification, validation, and manufacturing builds.
  • Apply structured problem-solving methodologies, including fishbone analysis and debugging techniques, to identify and resolve product issues.
  • Document technical findings, corrective actions, and project progress, and communicate updates effectively to stakeholders.
  • Develop debug tools, troubleshooting guides, and training materials to support manufacturing and engineering teams.
  • Drive successful deployment of redesign projects into manufacturing to meet demand and release schedules.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), Ship & Ramp, calibration, and production activities for RF Test & Measurement products.

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in hardware design, sustaining engineering, or RF/analog product development.
  • Fresh graduates with strong academic projects or internship experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of analog circuit design, power supply design, and RF fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with failure analysis, root cause investigation, and debugging techniques.
  • Ability to travel to Austin, Texas, for training and collaboration with global R&D teams.

  • Exposure to analog filters, active/passive circuit design, DSP concepts, and PCB layout development.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Failure Analysis, and Quality teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth product releases.
  • Provide technical training and ongoing support to manufacturing technicians and Failure Analysis engineers.
