What you'll do
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, conduits, fixtures, and control equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and local electrical codes.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis of electrical malfunctions, utilizing various testing devices.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure efficient project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment safely and proficiently.

- Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent vocational training.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a qualified electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes (NEC, local codes), safety standards, and practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including standing, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, confined spaces).
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
