  • You will support the ongoing development and enhancement of the core components of the enterprise risk management framework.
  • You will assist the team in the preparation and production of internal risk reporting materials (e.g. the CRO report and annual ORSA).
  • You will support the delivery of stress and scenario testing, including coordinating the collection of data and assumptions, performing qualitative and quantitative analysis, and contributing to the preparation of results and supporting materials.
  • You will support the Internal Model Validation process by bringing together key data, metrics and dashboards to ensure the efficient and timely production of the validation reports.
  • You will support Syndicate risk reporting, including the preparation of regular and ad hoc risk reports.
  • You will support other members of the Group ERM team in challenging AXIS’s first-line processes relating to key business risks.
  • You will help maintain the risk management system and its data to ensure they are complete and up to date.
  • You will participate in project work and deep-dive assessments of topical areas.
  • You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

Job Description: Risk Analyst

How does this role contribute to our collective success?
 

The Group Risk Team is responsible for identifying, monitoring and managing key risks across all of AXIS’s business and operations. It works closely with multiple stakeholders across AXIS and establishes a view of risk using a mixture of qualitative and quantitative analyses.

The purpose of this role is to play an important part within the Group Risk Team by supporting the ongoing development of the view of risk and enabling the business to make informed decisions.

What will you do in this role?
