Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as a Risk and Opportunity (R&O) Manager within the Land Based Sensors (LBS) Family of Radars. In this role, you will work closely with Program Managers, cross‑functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and supporting functions to drive predictable performance across contracts. This position supports the Development program area and provides a strong growth opportunity for those aspiring to advance in program management.

What You Will Do:

• Develop program‑enhancing partnerships across IPTs, the Program Office, Finance, Planning, and all supporting functions.
• Collaborate with program teams on Risk & Opportunity (R&O) identification, assessment, and handling.
• Drive compliant R&O management and best practices.
• Facilitate Risk and Opportunity Management Boards (ROMBs) and workshops.
• Create and analyze R&O metrics.
• Document and drive R&O‑related actions to closure with program teams.
• Ensure the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) adequately reflects R&O handling plans.
• Review and reconcile Estimate at Complete (EAC) R&O data with the program risk register.
• Support program start‑up activities for R&O management.
• Develop customer‑facing R&O reports (e.g., CDRLs).
• Expected to support domestic travel as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Risk & Opportunity Management.
• Demonstrated experience working within a cross‑functional team environment.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Existing security clearance.
• Experience in program or project management and/or as an IPT lead.
• Experience with financial management (e.g., EAC support).
• Experience with program schedules (IMS) and/or Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs).
• Program management certifications.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
