Position Overview

As a Risk & Control Expert within PNC's Independent Risk organization, you will be based in New York City.

The Senior Director, Integrated Risk Framework is responsible for leading transformation efforts to ensure a consistent, integrated, and sustainable approach to risk management across the organization. This leader will lead strategic rationalization efforts to simplify and strengthen the organization's risk and control environment. This role addresses a critical capability gap by providing dedicated leadership and expertise in core data design, governance, risk taxonomy management, controls rationalization, and enterprise-wide integration. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership, ensuring risk management practices remain efficient, scalable, data-driven, and aligned with regulatory expectations and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Experience
• 8+ years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk, Governance, Controls, Compliance, Audit, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading large-scale rationalization or simplification efforts involving controls, taxonomies, risk inventories, or governance processes.
• Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional initiatives across complex organizations.

Job Description

  • Responsible for both tactical and strategic tasks. Daily work is typically complex in nature, with the expectation that previous knowledge and experience are drawn upon.
  • Generally focused on daily deliverables, outputs, and reporting along with the proactive improvement of process and workflows for the larger group. Independently manages and prioritizes work assignments and workflow effectively.
  • Serves as a mentor to less experienced staff and resource for entire team on routine to moderately complex issues. May represent the assigned group internally or externally as a subject matter expert.
  • Has primary responsibility for largest/most complex clients/projects.
  • Directs the work flow of team or business unit.
  • Additional responsibilities will be provided by your manager.
