Shift Availability:

3rd Shift: Monday-Thursday - 7:30pm-6:00am

Job Purpose:

Operate welding robots according to job guidelines in efficient, productive, and safe manner.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operate welding robots and monitor robot while running.
• Set up and tear down jobs by loading and unloading fixtures.
• Load and unload parts.  Perform a visual quality inspection of parts.
• Ensure quality of welds.  Remove weld spatter using chisel and/or grinder as necessary.
• Tag completed rework jobs appropriately.
• Perform daily equipment inspection.
• Advise supervisor or lead of shortages or poor-quality materials/products.
• Operate hoist to maneuver parts safely into place.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Mechanical aptitude
• Safety oriented

Preferred

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturing environment experience
• Welding and/or Robot experience

Working Conditions:

Will involve lifting equipment (30 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. rarely), push/pull up to 30 lbs., walk, stand, bend, twist/turn, reach overhead, reach/lift with outstretched arms and grasp tools as necessary.  Will also involve repetitive motion, dust, vibration, hazardous chemicals, welding fumes, ozone, infrared and ultraviolet light.  Work area can be noisy, ear protection required.

At Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we believe in taking care of our team with a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive pay and a range of valuable benefits. Your base wage will be between $20.00 - $23.88 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.This position is eligible for a $1.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked on 3rd shift, in addition to the base hourly wage.
