Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting experienced Children's Social Workers to join Rochdale's Family Support and Protection Service.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive authority committed to delivering positive outcomes for children and families. You'll work alongside experienced practitioners and managers in a service that values relationship-based practice and professional development.

What will your responsibilities be? 

As a Social Worker within the Family Support and Protection Service, you will:

  • Manage a varied caseload of children subject to Child in Need, Child Protection and Care Proceedings.
  • Undertake assessments and develop effective care plans.
  • Work directly with children and families to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.
  • Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings and reviews.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, assessments and court statements where required.
  • Work in partnership with other professionals to safeguard children and promote their welfare.

Qualifications and Experience: 

To be successful in this role you must have;  

  • Social Work England Registration
  • Qualified Social Worker status
  • Experience within Children's Safeguarding, Child Protection, Assessment or Family Support Services
  • Enhanced DBS
