About this role
External Job Description
Role Summary:
Responsible for plant mechanical maintenance, breakdown handling, preventive maintenance, inspections, and compliance as per defined standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and resolve line breakdowns
- Execute PM as per schedule and maintain records
- Follow SAP engineering workflows
- Conduct inspections as per SMS/EMS
- Prepare shift reports and communicate with block in‑charge
- Implement 5S, TPM initiatives and SOP audits
- Ensure daily machine checklists are completed
Qualification & Eligibility:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Maximum Age: 26 years
- Experience: 1–3 years (Chemical/Pharma preferred)
Skills & Knowledge:
- O&M of pumps, valves, reactors, mixers/agitators, MHEs
- Knowledge of utilities: compressors, chillers, WTP, boilers
- Basic AutoCAD knowledge preferred
- SAP (Plant Maintenance) exposure preferred
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
