Rooms Controller - Fairmont Agra

What you'll do
- Oversee daily room inventory, occupancy levels, and room status management to ensure optimal operational efficiency
- Manage and optimise room revenue through strategic pricing, forecasting, and yield management initiatives
- Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping and maintenance teams, including staff scheduling, induction, and performance management
- Monitor and maintain the highest standards of room cleanliness, maintenance, and guest-ready conditions across all guest rooms
- Liaise with the Front Office and Guest Services teams to ensure seamless communication and exceptional guest experiences
- Analyse occupancy data, revenue reports, and key performance indicators to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Address and resolve guest complaints and maintenance issues promptly and professionally
- Manage room maintenance requests and coordinate with engineering and housekeeping departments
- Maintain accurate records of room status, maintenance schedules, and inventory within the property management system
- Conduct regular quality assurance inspections and audits to ensure compliance with Fairmont standards
- Prepare detailed reports on room operations, occupancy rates, and revenue performance for management review
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to support promotional activities and special events

- Excellent knowledge of revenue management principles and pricing strategies
