The ideal candidate will possess keen attention to detail, proficiency in HVAC systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with construction teams and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC ductwork installations during the rough-in phase of construction.
  • Verify compliance with building codes, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Assess the cleanliness and integrity of ductwork to prevent contamination and ensure suitability for use.
  • Document inspection findings, noting any deviations and recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate with construction teams and regulatory inspectors to facilitate smooth workflow and compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to contractors regarding HVAC installation requirements and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, reports, and correspondence.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HVAC system installation, maintenance, or inspection.
  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and standards related to HVAC systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification or licensure in HVAC inspection or related field is preferred.

Join our team as an HVAC Rough-in Inspector and contribute to the successful completion of construction projects by ensuring the highest standards of HVAC system quality and compliance from the outset.
