- Responsible for routine patrols in and around divisional buildings giving particular attention to and often rechecking those locations
- Patrols buildings, checks for unsafe conditions, fire checks, prowlers, vandalism, and other unusual occurrences
- Makes rounds of assigned area at least three times during shifts, while making written reports and logs of issues found and operational duties
- Promptly responds to emergencies and interacts with other care team members, patients, and visitors during normal activities while on shift
- Monitors alarm activations and video camera systems for potential security and safety issues that are currently occurring as well as investigations of incidents that are past
- Sends complete reports and recommendations to supervision
- Verbal de-escalation of situations as they arise, leading to possible physical management if the situation dictates

Hours: 3-12 hour shifts per a week

Additional Job Description
Minimum Education: A high school diploma or GED is a requirement of this position.
