Compensation Pay Range:

$70,971.00 - $106,457.00

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.  Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

The Distribution Center Safety Supervisor is expected to establish and meet company objectives in the areas of health, safety, and regulatory compliance while exhibiting excellent leadership as the distribution center’s subject matter expert on health and safety related matters. This position is instrumental in reducing team member exposure to work related injuries and motor vehicle accidents. The Distribution Center Safety Supervisor is expected to uphold and comply with all company policies, safety programs, and regulatory compliance standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Ensures facility is compliant with regulatory agency training programs, documents, and files.

Manages all powered industrial equipment safety-related programs and/or issues concerning team members, the equipment, and any vendors that arise.

Maintains communication with leadership personnel and operations staff on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis in pre-shift and post-break meetings, or other formal or informal group meetings.

Communicates, implements, and interprets safety policies and practices to ensure fair and consistent administration.

Monitors fleet safety driving behavior technology for site’s DOT regulated and DC City Counter drivers.

Conducts weekly and monthly safety audit and assessments.

Maintains current knowledge of federal, state, and local legislation and regulations

Manages waste chemical pour-off training and disposal for the DC.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES

Required: 

Minimum of 2 years of experience in EHS programs/regulatory compliance

Willingness to travel 25%
