What you'll do
- Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
- Proactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties including picking & packing customer orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets.
- Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to our customers including building sites, business and private residences.
- Ensuring high standards are maintained in the branch.

As a Sales Assistant based in Brighton, you’ll be responsible for:

Proactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending.
Assisting with general warehouse duties including picking & packing customer orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets.
Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to our customers including building sites, business and private residences.
Ensuring high standards are maintained in the branch.
This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 07:30-16:30 or 08:00-17:00 with 1hrs break and 2 in 7 Saturday 08:00-12:00 paid as overtime.
