About the Team/Role

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for responding to Requests for Proposal, assisting Sales Directors in various areas (assembling materials, support while Sales Directors travels, follow-up questions, including consultant calls and participant presentations), traveling for enrollment meetings, assisting with event planning, managing opportunities in our CRM system and all other duties as assigned. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for drafting tailored cover letters and responding to fluid market segments. This role supports Sales Directors through complex logistics, consultant interactions, and project-based assignments. The individual demonstrates a medium level of acumen across all lines of business and serves as a peer mentor for newer team members.

  • Phone calls and e-mails are to be handled with immediate attention – with a goal of resolution in under four hours.

  • Efficiently manage high volumes of Salesforce tasks while maintaining the flexibility to handle specialized requests for different sales segments.

  • Work efficiently in a team environment

  • A full understanding of the relationship between the consultants, employers, and Sales Team, maintaining a medium level of acumen across all lines of business, requiring less hands-on training and demonstrating a more advanced understanding of how WEX products fit the needs of consultants and employers.

  • The ability to manage the logistics of travel throughout the country. Plan and set up own travel schedule, reservations, and logistics required for meetings

  • Responsible for assisting all Sales Team members by answering questions and providing education.

  • Handles all inquiries professionally and courteously and with accuracy

  • Conduct presentations and provide product training/demonstrations to new clients and participants. Participate in monthly Sales Team development meetings

  • Travel 5-7 times per year

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
