About the Team

The Quality team plays a critical role in ensuring that products meet customer, regulatory, and company quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Working closely with Operations, Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain, the team drives process compliance, continuous improvement, and product integrity. The department focuses on preventing defects, ensuring product traceability, and promoting a strong quality culture on the shopfloor. As a key leader, the Deputy Quality Manager supports operational excellence while developing and guiding quality assurance teams.

 

What you can look forward to as Deputy Quality Manager:

 

• Lead and drive compliance with quality requirements across production operations and manufacturing processes.
• Ensure product release readiness before shipment through product, process, and dock audits.
• Manage and monitor in-process inspection activities, including process audits, Layered Process Audits (LPAs), error-proofing verification, and equipment parameter validation.
• Oversee implementation and adherence to Control Plans, PFMEAs, process flows, testing requirements, and inspection standards.
• Drive line-stop and escalation processes to prevent quality issues from impacting customers.
• Ensure effective management of non-conforming materials, including identification, segregation, quarantine, and containment actions.
• Monitor compliance with product traceability and product safety requirements throughout manufacturing operations.
• Lead and develop Product and Process Quality Assurance Team Leads, Auditors, and Technicians while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

 

 

Your Profile as Deputy Quality Manager:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Strong experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Deep understanding of quality systems, production operations, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of welding, assembly, and machining processes.
• Experience conducting product, process, and system audits in a production environment.
• Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams within direct and matrix organizations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities with a hands-on approach to shopfloor management.
