                                          Sample Management Officer

We are currently seeking to recruit a Sample Management Officer to join our Pre Analytics team (Sample Reception) at the Eurofins Biomnis laboratory in Sandyford, Dublin18.

Working Hours: 39 hours p/w

Shifts:  Early Shift 6am - 2.30pm

             Late Shift 2pm-10.30pm

Job Description

The main responsibilities for Sample Management Officer are the reception of patient specimens into and movement from the Pre-analytical department through to the analytical laboratories. The role also requires the preparation of outsourced samples for dispatch to other laboratories. Being a strong team player by showing initiative, being proactive in supporting the Pre Analytics team by assisting in the sharing of tasks, that results in the delivery of an effective, efficient, quality assured and customer centred laboratory service.

Qualifications

Education

• Leaving Certificate or Equivalent

Experience

• Sample handling or manual handing preferably but not essential

Skills & Abilities

• Attention to detail
• Can do attitude willing to go the extra mile to resolve all issues
• Good team player
