Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Architect to lead enterprise-wide integration initiatives and drive the design, governance, and optimization of SAP and third-party application landscapes. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP integration technologies and will be responsible for defining integration strategies, providing architectural guidance, and ensuring scalable and reliable connectivity across business applications.
This role requires strong stakeholder management skills, vendor coordination capabilities, and the ability to deliver integration solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, development, and governance of integration activities across SAP applications and third-party platforms.
- Define and execute integration strategies and roadmaps aligned with business and enterprise architecture objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for integration and change management activities involving applications, networks, and external solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance and advisory support on integration technologies, data architecture, and system design best practices.
- Develop and maintain the enterprise application integration architecture blueprint and establish governance standards across the integration landscape.
- Collaborate with project teams to define integration strategies and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend platform modernization and migration initiatives to support future technology adoption.
- Review and validate estimates, timelines, and deliverables provided by vendors and ensure adherence to approval processes.
- Design and approve integration patterns utilizing SAP PO and SAP Cloud Integration Suite.
- Document integration architectures and standards to facilitate communication between project teams and system integrators.
- Manage and coordinate vendor teams to ensure timely and successful execution of integration initiatives.
- Enable scalable operational support models and drive continuous improvement across the integration ecosystem.
- Provide leadership and collaboration during redesign and optimization initiatives while ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices.
- Contribute to the overall SAP strategy by identifying opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
- Support incident management activities including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Ensure integration solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to deliver tangible business outcomes.
- Perform additional responsibilities and support strategic initiatives as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration Development.
- Minimum of 4 full lifecycle integration implementation projects.
- Strong expertise in SAP PO, SAP CPI, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and related SAP integration technologies.
- Experience with XML, JSON, REST APIs, OData, SOAP Web Services, and certificate-based integrations.
- Hands-on experience with ABAP Proxies, Java Mapping, XSLT Mapping, and Graphical Mapping.
- Strong understanding of SAP system architecture, integration points, and data models.
- Experience in solution architecture, integration governance, and enterprise application integration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Desired Qualifications:
- ABAP, JavaScript, and groovy knowledge are considered an advantage
- Good to Understand SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA
