Job Description
Due to continuing success and expansion, Turner & Townsend are now looking for an experienced Scheduler to provide schedule and planning services on a major construction project in Cork.
Responsibilities
- Review internal schedules, contractor's schedules, and analyse, review, validate and report on any time impacts, scope change impacts or delay enabling early identification of risks
- Maintain and monitor master plan schedule
- Prepare and monitor tasks ensuring satisfactory realization of project requirements against the project schedule
- Develop and manage the integrated work breakdown structure for the project
- Integrate various contract packages into master plan schedule
- Review contractor’s submitted schedule and make recommendations to client
- Prepare regular internal/external weekly and monthly progress report for management and client
- Monitor progress on key delivery milestones and report on compliance in line with the agreed Baseline Programme
- Interact with contractor and verify the project data to update project schedule
- Assess any contractor’s extension of time claim
Qualifications
- >5 years scheduling/planning experience
- Knowledge and experience of all of the main design or project management concepts, tools and techniques
- Expertise in project controls and time/schedule management on major construction projects; preferrebly within the Hi-Tech, Manufacturing, Industrial or other related complex asset types.
- Expert experience level using project scheduling tools
- Ability to coordinate/organise multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The tenacity and drive to inject value and create solutions.
- Understanding of the financial aspects of a project
- Availability for on-site work
