Job Summary
The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling patient appointments in appropriate clinic(s) and to ensure thorough and complete information is obtained to facilitate the registration process. Minimum $23.00 Midpoint $27.94 Maximum $32.88Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
• Required: Minimum six (6) months of front office experience.
• Preferred: One (1) year of experience as a Medical Office Assistant using scheduling software.
Education
• Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
• Preferred: Some post High School education, to include Medical Office courses.
Training
• Required: None required.
Specialized Skills
• Required: Strong skills in using Microsoft office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point). Ability to handle interruptions in work-tasks due to greeting people and answering a small multi-phone line. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills. Strong organization skills; excellent critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: Strong knowledge of scheduling software products. Bilingual in English/Spanish
