Position Overview:
As an Admission Counselor at Dreamtime Learning Online School, you will be responsible for engaging with potential students and guiding them through the admissions process. You will play a crucial role in helping students and their families understand the benefits of our online learning platform and assisting them in making informed decisions about their education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Engagement: Initiate and maintain communication with prospective students and their families through various channels including phone calls, emails, and online chats. Provide information about our school's programs, curriculum, and extracurricular activities.
- Admissions Guidance: Guide students through the admissions process, including assisting with application forms, collecting necessary documents, and explaining admission requirements and deadlines. Address any concerns or questions that prospective students may have.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with prospective students and their families to understand their educational needs and goals. Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the admissions process, offering personalized support and guidance.
- Sales and Enrollment: Meet or exceed enrollment targets by effectively communicating the value proposition of Dreamtime Learning Online School and persuading prospective students to enroll. Utilize persuasive sales techniques to overcome objections and close admissions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, academic advising, and student services to ensure a seamless admissions process and provide a positive experience for prospective students.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all communications and interactions with prospective students in the school's CRM system. Use data analytics to track admissions metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, marketing, or related field.
- Previous experience in admissions, sales, or customer service, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse audiences.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- A passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals.
