School Based BCBA

Are you a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) looking to join a team of dedicated behavioral professionals in a school setting? If so, join Devereux as a BCBA Consultant for schools in Delaware! Everything you do is billable!

 

Location: New Castle County

Schedule: School-based hours, 10-month position with the option to work Extended School Year (ESY) in the summer

Compensation: $75,000–$91,700 per year, based on qualifications and assignment. The range includes compensation for BCBAs who participate in the district's optional Extended School Year (ESY) program, which typically runs for approximately five weeks from early July through the first week of August.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide behavioral support to students with autism, intellectual disabilities, and developmental disabilities
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
• Develop and implement behavior intervention plans
• Train and support school staff on behavior strategies
• Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS) is a comprehensive initiative made up of five specialized divisions: the Center for Effective Schools, the Center for Resilient Children, Direct Care Training Resources, the Center for Autism Educational Services, and the Center for Mental Health Services. These divisions provide in-person and virtual services designed to improve academic, behavioral, and emotional outcomes across educational settings.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification (required)
• Experience working in school-based settings preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
