Role Overview
Brilliant National School is seeking a qualified and dynamic Physics Teacher for Classes 8 to 11. The role focuses on building strong conceptual foundations in mechanics, optics, electricity, and modern physics, with emphasis on experiments, numericals, and CBSE board preparation using interactive methods.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver lesson plans and activity plans aligned with the CBSE Physics curriculum for Classes.
Teach force & pressure, friction, sound, light, electricity, magnetism, motion, laws of motion, work-energy, gravitation, and Class 11 topics like kinematics, dynamics, waves, and thermodynamics.
Use lab experiments, demonstrations, simulations (PhET), models, numerical worksheets, and audio-visual aids to clarify concepts.
Design and conduct practical assessments, viva voce, lab records, and theory tests.
Maintain student progress records and documentation.
Encourage participation in physics Olympiads, quizzes, science exhibitions, and project competitions.
Foster an engaging, inquiry-driven, and positive classroom environment.
Communicate effectively with parents through PTMs and progress reports, following school norms.

Eligibility / Qualifications
Graduate/Postgraduate in Physics (B.Sc./M.Sc. Physics preferred).
B.Ed. mandatory; CTET/KARTET preferred.
2–3 years of teaching experience in secondary classes (in CBSE/ICSE schools.
Strong conceptual clarity, practical skills, numerical expertise, and classroom management.

Work Location & Timings
Location: Mandur, Bengaluru, Karnataka
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
(One Saturday off as per school policy)
School Timings: 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM
Weekly Stay Back: Once a week till 5:00 PM (Mandatory)

The candidate must be familiar with maintaining the following records:
Students' Anecdotal Records
Students' Internal Marks Register
Formative and Summative Assessments as per CBSE norms
Activity-Based Teaching Records
Lesson Plans, Activity Plans, and Weekly Plans
