Security Engineer

Job Title: Security Engineer Location: Manchester Salary: £38,000 + travel time + overtime + callout Are you a Security Engineer based in Manchester looking for your next opportunity? As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and residential sites. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality security solutions to its customers. Responsibilities: * Install, configure, and commission security systems including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms to industry standards. * Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service calls on a range of security systems. * Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently, minimising downtime for clients. * Complete accurate site documentation, service reports, and handover records following each visit. * Liaise professionally with clients on site, providing technical guidance and ensuring satisfaction with completed works. Experience and Certifications required: * Proven experience as a Security Engineer, with hands-on knowledge of CCTV, access control, and/or intruder alarm systems. * Experience working with leading manufacturers such as Hikvision, Dahua, Paxton, Texecom, or similar. * Full UK driving licence, as the role involves regular travel to client sites. * NSI or SSAIB awareness and working to BS EN 50131 standards (desirable). * FIA Fire and Security qualification or equivalent industry certification (desirable).
