To meet our challenges, we are looking for a Security Specialist within the Security team! This position will be located in Gokak.

Our Team

The Security department ensures that employees and assets at the site are working in a secure zone, free from any threats and at the same time Company is also protected including data security and information breach.

Their Mission:   
 
Responsible for managing a team of security personnel to ensure the protection of company’s property, assets and people.

 Key Accountabilities    
1.    Adherence to security SOP’s and guidelines
2.    Patrolling building perimeter, sets up secure point of entry and investigation of  suspicious activity
3.    Develops and enforce security procedure and regulation. 
4.    Act as liaison to all departments on security measures, procedures and needs.
5.    Perform variety of task given time –to-time given by the management. 
6.    Interfacing with external security guards agency for staffing of security operations.
7.    Should liaison with local elements and departments to protect the interest of company and should safeguard the company’s executives as well as all employees against all unwarranted threats.
8.    Facilitating on the job training for specific of security guards monitoring & protection responsibilities.
9.    Investigates cases of theft or personal harm, perpetrated by employees or contractors.
10.    Conduct security awareness and responsibility training.
11.     Protect  company assets and people from invasion and harm Perform services to assure the safety and protection company’s property and personnel against injury or death, molestation, harassment or intimidations and loss or damage from any preventable cause including fire, theft, embezzlement, damage or destruction, trespass, espionage or sabotage. Protection of sexual harassment.
12.      Maintain a upto-date a property loss and prevention programme Establish and install key controls on departmental communication equipment and property access
13.    Evaluate incidents and determine course of action.
14.    Discover source of security breach & take proper initiative for close it. 
15.    Monitor safety alarms and devices around building and perimeter for vigilance. 
16.    Report and track all incident 
17.    Maintain smooth relations with internal & external stack-holders 
18.    Keep good liaisoning with external authorities like police, Tahashildar, CMC, revenue dept. , local peoples etc. 
19.    Grievances handling of Employee/workers/contract labours  
20.    Vehicle management 
21.    Printing & Stationary, furniture  inventory management 
22.    Maintain travel desk management & guest Relation, organise parties dinners etc. 
23.    Maintain a emergency training curriculum 
Internal coordination with – HR, Admin, SCM, HSE mainly.
External coordination – Local industrial relations, Government agencies, Police station, local bodies.

What we love about you:

Key competencies requirement (MUST HAVE)

• (Functional) – Knowledge of plant safety, Fire safety and First Aid
• Must have handled security surveillance equipements and vigilance monitoring
• Must be capable of handling emergency situations
• Local liasioning with police station and other related Government offices

And also: Graduate with service in armed forces preferred with 5 to 8+ years experience preferred in industrial security expereince
