Senior Accommodation Officer - Brooksby College

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accommodation Officer to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Brooksby College.

We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Senior Accommodation Officer to support the delivery of a high‑quality, safe and welcoming residential service for our students.

In this role, you will work with the Head of Accommodation and you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day management of college accommodation, leading and supporting staff, promoting student welfare and safeguarding, and ensuring full compliance with health, safety and accommodation regulations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, people‑focused professional who is passionate about student wellbeing, has strong organisational and leadership skills, and thrives in a varied, operational environment.

Responsibilities of this role include;

•  To assist in the development, monitoring and maintenance of accurate and comprehensive electronic records for all aspects of accommodation services
•  Undertake DSL training and be part of DDSL team
•  To assist in the development, updating, maintaining, reviewing and evaluating of the full range of accommodation services
•    To provide first aid cover

What we are looking for;

•    Someone who can work flexibly. whilst the role is mainly day time, the role will include day, evening and potentially night shifts as well across both our Brooksby College and Gables accommodation as required
•    To be trauma informed and able to understand the needs of young people and how to support these in an accommodation setting
•    Able to demonstrate previous experience of working with and supporting young people, specifically in supporting student welfare and behaviour
•    Proven administration, IT skills and record management skills, with significant attention to detail and accuracy
•    Have proven commitment to the improvement and maintenance of standards.
