What you'll do
- Oversee day-to-day accounts payable operations ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, payments and reconciliations
- Act as the primary point of escalation for AP-related queries and issues
- Coordinate workload distribution among team members
- Monitor and report on team performance metrics
- Provide coaching, mentorship and training to AP team members
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement process improvements
- Monitor vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Process high-value or complex invoices, credit notes and adjustments
- Perform 2/3-way matching of invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents
- Verify and maintain vendor master data
- Prepare and analyze AP reports
