What you'll do

  • Support development of acquisition strategies, procurement plans, and contract documentation for both FAR-based and OTA (Other Transaction Authority) acquisitions.
  • Prepare or coordinate Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Justification and Approvals (J&As), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), and other acquisition artifacts.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining cost estimates, schedules, and risk assessments aligned to program requirements.
  • Facilitate the review and coordination of acquisition packages across government and industry stakeholders.
  • Analyze contract requirements and terms for compliance with DoD acquisition policies and RCCTO-specific objectives.
  • Assist with market research activities and documentation of acquisition planning strategies.
  • Monitor and support delivery tracking, property management, and compliance reporting related to government-furnished equipment.
  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), technical interchange meetings, and stakeholder working groups to ensure acquisition alignment with program milestones.
  • Track and report status of contracting actions, funding execution, and performance metrics to program leadership.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives across acquisition, operations, and sustainment functions.

  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during employment. TS/SCI preferred.

  • PMP certification or graduate education preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting rapid acquisition or prototyping programs.
  • Familiarity with Other Transaction Authority (OTA) procedures and agreements.
  • Engaged routinely with three‑ and four‑star leadership, offering executive‑level briefings, recommendations, and cross‑functional coordination across joint, interagency, and service components
  • Experience managing acquisition activities that interface with MILCON, infrastructure, logistics, or sustainment planning.

Opportunity

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst to support our Huntsville, AL location.

 

We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Senior Acquisition Analyst to support multiple Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research & Engineering (OUSW (R&E) and U.S. Army Headquarters at Executive Director and Flag Officer equivalents. This position provides critical acquisition planning, strategy development, and program execution support in a dynamic environment focused on advancing autonomy, artificial intelligence, advanced payloads, and manned–unmanned teaming capabilities for Army formations. The analyst will play a key role in shaping acquisition strategies that enable rapid prototyping, experimentation, and fielding of emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in DoD acquisition and contracting processes, the ability to develop and manage complex acquisition documentation, and a strong understanding of rapid acquisition pathways and Other Transaction Authority (OTA) mechanisms. The selected individual will work closely with program leadership, industry partners, and joint stakeholders to align acquisition strategies with mission objectives and emerging operational needs.

 

Duties:
