Key duties and responsibilities

 Receipt of required data for the preparation of Book-Keeping and periodic primary

statements, namely – P&L account, Balance sheet, Cash-flows & notes as

appropriate.

 Analysis of bank transactions and processing/reviewing on accounting

platform/excel.

 Analysis and processing/review of invoices, expenses, and other transactions.

 Clear understanding of accrued & prepaid expenses, FAR & Revaluations.

 Understanding of cash, capital & Dividend movements

 Ability to reconcile AP & AR (Inter-company transactions)

 Exposure to Trial balance finalization.

 Preparation & review of periodic management accounts in multiple GAAPs, mainly

in IFRS, US GAAP.

 Exposure to payroll accounting, posting journal entries & VAT/GST

calculations/returns.

 Ability to understand and resolve queries raised by Onshore, Client, Auditor and

Director.

Qualification and Experience

 Qualification- CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or any course specialized in

Accounting/Finance.

 Experience of 5-7 years in accounting.

 Experience of Accounting in IFRS/US GAAP is preferred.

Skills Required

 Strong accounting knowledge.

 Excellent understanding of Journal entries.

 Analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Attention to details.

 Willingness to learn.

 Flexibility to work long hours & weekend working (If necessary).

 Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel & Word is mandatory).

 Good written and verbal communication skills.

 Good knowledge in capital market, derivatives, Private equity fund, Hedge funds

etc
