Job Responsibilities:

As a Senior Security Analyst – System Administration (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring the secure and compliant operation of our enterprise-critical IT systems, including SAP, B2B integrations, MES, and Baan (Infor LN). You will serve as the central point of contact for IT audit-related activities, working closely with internal teams, external auditors, and system stakeholders to ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.

In this position, you will combine your deep technical knowledge of system administration with your expertise in IT compliance to monitor, document, and enhance the security posture of our interconnected system landscape. You will contribute to audit readiness, security operations, and the continuous improvement of our Information Security Management System (ISMS) – all within a dynamic, production-oriented environment with complex integration between IT and OT systems.

The System Admin SAP Security Analyst will work closely with the global ISOL (Industrial Solution) Team and their Manager to ensure the smooth operation and security of the SAP systems.

Your Responsibilities

Audit & Compliance Support

  • Plan, coordinate, and support internal and external IT audits (e.g. ITGC, SOX, internal audit)

  • Act as the interface between IT operations, application owners (SAP, B2B, MES, Baan), and auditors

  • Track and implement audit findings and continuously improve audit readiness

  • Create and maintain audit-relevant documentation, such as system overviews, role and authorization concepts

System Administration with a Focus on Business-Critical Systems

  • Technical administration and security support of systems in the areas of SAP (ERP, S/4HANA, SAP Cloud ), B2B integrations, MES systems, and Baan (Infor LN)

  • Support secure integration between shop floor systems (MES) and core ERP solutions

  • Evaluate security risks in the existing system landscape and develop appropriate mitigation strategies

  • Maintain and optimize technical logging, monitoring, and reporting solutions

Security Operations & ISMS Support

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the ISMS (according to ISO 27001 or BSI standards)

  • Analyze security incidents and vulnerabilities, and coordinate remediation activities

  • Define and maintain security policies and operational documentation

  • Conduct risk assessments and support security workshops and awareness training

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other IT and business teams to ensure system integrity.

  • Communicate security policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of security strategies.

  • Handle audits related to ISOL security, providing necessary documentation and evidence. Support internal and external audits.

  • Project management for risk and compliance tasks, including Saviynt/GRC and authorization clean-up, as well as other MAGNA ISOL projects.

  • Monitor and analyze security incidents, conducting audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities.

  • Collaborate with IT teams and external partners to ensure compliance with security standards. Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants for security-related projects and services.

  • Stay up to date with the latest developments and trends in ISOL Landscape, Azure, and SAP, B2B MES, Baan security.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed.

Who we are looking for

  • Degree in (Business) Informatics, IT Security, Computer Sciences or comparable education

  • SAP Certification

  • Several years of professional experience in IT security, system administration, or IT audit with a focus on compliance

  • Strong knowledge in administration and security of SAP systems, MES environments, and ideally Baan (Infor LN)

  • Experience with B2B interfaces and secure operations (e.g. EDI, API management)

  • Excellent English language skills

Your preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with IT security standards such as ISO 27001, BSI, ITIL, or COBIT
