Synergy Personnel Services is partnering with a Top 50 UK law firm to recruit a Senior Associate or Partner into its expanding Immigration team in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist immigration lawyer seeking a platform that combines high-quality work, national reach and the ability to build a visible regional practice.

The Role

You will join a well-established national Immigration team, advising businesses and individuals on a wide range of UK immigration matters, with a strong emphasis on corporate immigration and global mobility.

The team is recognised for its hands-on, client-focused approach, guiding clients through complex processes while delivering commercially practical solutions.

Your work will include:

• Sponsor licence applications and ongoing compliance
• Skilled Worker, Global Mobility and other visa routes
• Advising businesses on hiring overseas talent
• Immigration audits, right to work checks and HR systems
• Business visitor and short-term work arrangements
• Indefinite Leave to Remain and citizenship applications
• Strategic advice on workforce mobility and post-Brexit considerations

You will also act as a trusted adviser to clients, often serving as a key contact for ongoing immigration and compliance matters.

The Opportunity

Manchester represents a strategic growth location, and this hire will play a key role in strengthening the firm’s East of England presence.

This is a role with genuine scope to:

• Build long-term relationships with corporate clients and HR teams
• Develop a regional immigration offering backed by a national team
• Work closely with Employment, Corporate and Regulatory colleagues
• Become a go-to adviser on business immigration issues

At Partner level, you will have the autonomy to shape and scale your own practice, supported by an established client base and internal referral network.

About You

We are keen to speak with:

• Solicitors specialising in UK Immigration law (Senior Associate or Partner level)
• Strong experience in business immigration and sponsor licence work
• Individuals comfortable advising both corporate clients and high-net-worth individuals
• A commercially aware, solutions-driven approach
• An interest in building relationships across the Essex / East of England market

A following is advantageous at senior level but not essential, given the firm’s national client base and cross-referral opportunities.
