Senior Associate - Technical (Network Security )

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

•4+ years of experience in networking and security.

•CCNA/CCNP (R&S / Security) Certified.   Checkpoint certification will be added advantage

•Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, and firewalls.

•Experience in Implementation & Support of Network & Security technologies.

•Experience with troubleshooting network and security issues.

•Should have thorough knowledge and hands-on experience on all standard firewall features, including routing, VPN.

•Support and maintenance of Checkpoint firewalls is preferred.   Experience with other firewalls like Cisco, Palo Alto and Fortigate will added advantage 

•Should have knowledge to implement firewalls with centralized management

•Should be knowledgeable to understand and design network architecture for multi-location environment

•Should be knowledgeable to gather all required information and able to size the solution 

•Should be able to understand requirement and carryout required firewall configurations

•Upgrading to major versions and applying hotfixes of Firewall OS / Firmware

•Should be able to raise support tickets with OEM and work till resolution

•Working within established incident and change management processes

•Knowledge on other cyber security solutions will be advantage 

•Should always be updated on new security features and suggest to adopt and configure the same

•Expected to be a good learner and take responsibility to handle different Cyber security solutions

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•Should be flexible to travel for any implementation activities.

•Should be flexible to work after office hours, on weekends or holidays, in case of critical incidents or planned downtimes
