The Contingent Plan is actively recruiting an experienced technical business analyst for its client based in St. Paul. This is a W2, temporary assignment that is expected to last 12 months and there is a potential for renewal. The role is primarily remote, but there may be some need to go to the office. Thus, the client prefers someone in Minnesota or upper Midwest. Sorry, there is no sponsorship available at this time. This is an immediate need for our client and they will move quickly with the right candidate. Compensation is competitive and depends on experience. Responsibilities: Create project schedule and work plan in collaboration with project managers Coordinate communication and decision making between business, technology partners, Federal regulators, and other key stakeholders Gather requirements for the IT modernization enterprise level initiative Perform gap-fit analysis Create and manage Change Requests Assist in drafting training and other stakeholder documentation Develop and execute user acceptance testing Provide knowledge transfer Requirements Seven (7) years’ experience as a Business Analyst. A master’s degree substitutes for three years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree substitutes for two years, or an associate’s degree substitutes for one year At least three (3) years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst Prior experience in health insurance and related software at the enterprise level Prior Lead BA experience preferred. Business Analyst Certification (IIBA certification or equivalent) preferred, but not required. Ability to pass the required background checks Capable of completing the entire project if selected with the ability to work remotely as appropriate for the needs of the client.
