At IQVIA, our Senior Project Managers play a pivotal role in bringing innovative medicines to patients worldwide. You'll provide strategic leadership for complex global clinical trials, partnering directly with sponsors and cross-functional teams to deliver studies that accelerate the development of life-changing therapies.

What You'll Be Doing

As the strategic leader of your studies, you'll be accountable for the successful delivery of complex global clinical trials from start-up through close-out, ensuring quality, timeline, budget, regulatory and customer objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of complex global and multi-regional clinical studies, driving operational excellence and successful study outcomes

  • Serve as the primary strategic partner for sponsors, providing leadership, guidance and innovative solutions to drive successful study outcomes

  • Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams across regions, fostering collaboration, accountability and high performance

  • Oversee study timelines, budgets, quality, risks, financial performance and operational delivery to ensure study success

  • Drive proactive risk management, issue resolution, decision-making and stakeholder alignment throughout the study lifecycle

  • Ensure studies are delivered in compliance with ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements and contractual commitments

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare or a related scientific discipline

  • 7+ years of clinical research experience, including significant project management experience leading global or multi-regional clinical trials within a CRO, pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment

  • Experience leading renal, obesity and/or MASH (Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis) global clinical studies is strongly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of clinical trial conduct, ICH-GCP guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements

  • Proven success leading cross-functional teams and managing study delivery, including timelines, budgets, quality, risks and operational performance

  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted sponsor relationships and effectively manage senior stakeholders in a global environment

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Passion for advancing clinical research and improving patient outcomes
