What you'll do
- Support the ALTESS commercial cloud services infrastructure
- Provide managed cloud services in public clouds, MS Azure, AWS and Private Clouds
- Migrate on-premises applications to the cloud
- Manage secure transport technologies and Border Gateway Protocol
- Implement automation for infrastructure and administrative tasks
- Manage CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure compliance with DoD STIGs and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM)
- Manage multiple large-scale projects

- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent IA cert) AND computing environment certification (i.e. MCSD Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Computer Science or IT
- Mid to senior level Cloud Engineer experience that includes: Strong experience with IPSEC/VPN, and other secure transport technologies as well as Border Gateway Protocol
- Proven experience migrating on-premises applications to the cloud
- Understanding of network, storage, server, and application technologies
- Strong knowledge of automation concepts, tools, and scripting languages (Ansible, Terraform, Python, Powershell, Bash, Puppet, Chef, etc.)
- Working knowledge of code repositories tools such as Git
- Working knowledge of DoD STIGs, and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM)
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline experience such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or AWS CodeDeploy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience effectively managing multiple large-scale projects
Nice to have
- Senior IT experience in networking or equivalent experience
- Experience automating routine administrative tasks

Overview/ Job Responsibilities
Position is contingent upon contract award and funding.
Entarian is looking for a Cloud Engineer to support the ALTESS commercial cloud services infrastructure. ALTESS is a managed service provider for Army and DoD IT systems and plans to offer managed cloud services in public clouds, MS Azure, AWS and Private Clouds.
Salary range: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00
Minimum Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
