What you'll do

  • Operational diagnostics in subsidiaries in difficult situations: degraded financial information, restricted access to key interlocutors, management or governance failures, or post-acquisition environments with limited visibility.
  • Accounting reconstruction and remediation: rebuilding financial statements after a system failure, correcting material accounting errors under time pressure ahead of closing or audit deadlines.
  • Financial reporting and KPI implementation: establishing reliable reporting lines between headquarters and geographically distant or politically complex subsidiaries.
  • Crisis and profit warning management: assisting boards and senior management in quantifying accounting impacts, establishing short term action plans, and stabilising operations.
  • Interim finance leadership: temporarily taking charge of a finance function to bridge a critical gap created by an abrupt departure, a serious dysfunction, or a post-acquisition integration challenge.
  • Setting up and winding down structures: assisting clients in establishing new entities or operations in complex countries (subsidiary openings in Africa, Latin America, Asia, post-M&A take-overs), as well as managing closures, demergers, workforce reduction plans (PSE, RCC, PDV), and the financial, legal, and operational consequences of ceasing or scaling down activities.
  • Complex project management (PMO): providing a structured, on-the-ground project management office where no governance framework exists and critical deadlines are at risk.

  • Hold a Master’s degree from a leading business or engineering school, or an equivalent university degree, with a strong foundation in finance or accounting
  • Have completed at least three full annual cycles (“seasons”) in external financial audit or advisory within a leading firm (Big Four or equivalent), with exposure to complex clients, multi-entity engagements, and/or international assignments
  • Demonstrate strong technical expertise in finance fundamentals, financial statement analysis, and accounting standards (incl. IFRS, US GAAP, French GAAP)
  • Show a strong interest in operational and international assignments, including the capacity to be deployed quickly and work effectively in unfamiliar environments
  • Be comfortable operating in crisis or high-pressure situations, with the ability to maintain strong analytical rigor with limited information
  • Demonstrate a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, strong synthesis skills, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Be a genuine team player with excellent interpersonal skills, a developed sense of client orientation, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create clear and compelling presentations, experience with data analytics tools is a plus
  • Have full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken), as well as proficiency in at least one additional language (e.g., Spanish, German, Portuguese, Mandarin, Russian, Italian, or another relevant language)
  • Have at least an intermediate level of proficiency in French

Our team specialises in high‑value, sensitive, and time‑critical situations, supporting C-level leadership in environments where complexity, uncertainty, and compressed decision horizons are high.
