What you'll do

  • Production, curation and delivery of content across all platforms. Including but not limited to:
  • Content creation - Production of creative insights articles through coordination with relevant teams from idea generation to publication. Lead on the more complex pieces of production.
  • Content planning – Lead planning of content ideas and activities by collaborating with specialist marketing teams to deliver a coherent plan to help achieve regional and strategy business plan objectives. Feed content gaps into team and onwards to The Content Group and guide wider team in best way to capture this output.
  • Idea generation – Drawing on your experience, proactively contribute to specialist marketing teams ideas where appropriate, to generate original and high-quality content in the form of articles, films, podcasts, infographics and social posts to meet business plan objectives. Inspire your junior colleagues.
  • Content distribution – Work in partnership with marketing managers, regional CSAs, PR, social media and mailing teams to ensure our content is being effectively distributed. Collaborate to ensure effective delivery.
  • Analytics – Collaborate with firmwide analytics specialist to build the required reports. Track content with regular reporting and data analysis to measure success against key performance indicators identified during business planning.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality output, demonstrating understanding of the requirements of stakeholders. Capable of peer checking others work.
  • Proactive communication with relevant stakeholders; maintain and continually build a network of effective relationships with colleagues at all levels as well as external contacts to support the best possible team output.
  • Responsible for training, developing and mentoring new and existing team members, providing general guidance and direction.
  • Ensure clear and accurate tagging and controls within Digital Asset Management tool in own work and proactively support the wider team to do the same.
  • Proactively contribute ideas, drive change, continuous improvement, and digital transformation. Champion upholding the positive culture Client and Marketing Services.
  • Maintain knowledge of current regulatory practice and changes and consider their impact on the team and wider business. Authorise financial promotions as required.

Overview of Department

The Client and Marketing Insights Management team is responsible for Insights production and content management for the Clients Department, ensuring consistency of both message and style.

We are a dedicated resource partnering with the business to help with content planning, creation, and distribution. Each member of the team works with strategies and regional marketing managers. We work closely with colleagues responsible for the website, events, social media, film production and marketing campaigns.

Purpose of Role

As a Senior Content Manager, you’ll take a leading role in delivering more complex content and activity, bringing experience and judgement to content planning, production and distribution. You’ll provide guidance to colleagues, lead cross-team work and help drive continuous improvement, digital transformation and high standards across the team.

Responsibilities
