  • You will be responsible for the design, development and evaluation of connection systems for optical, mechanical and electrical interfaces in complex opto-mechatronic modules
  • You will draw on your experience in the design of connectors, cables, fibre-optic and high-speed connections, and evaluate technical solutions in terms of signal integrity, power integrity, EMC, robustness and suitability for series production
  • You will manage development and design tasks independently, coordinate requirements with internal stakeholders, suppliers and external development partners, and oversee solutions from specification through to qualification
  • You will support interdisciplinary teams with your technical judgement, experience in troubleshooting and verification, and a keen eye for risks, interdependencies and feasibility
  • You will draw up and review technical documentation, specifications, test reports and acceptance criteria, thereby contributing to the robust validation of new connection technologies.

Your role
