This role offers the opportunity to help drive planning discipline and performance visibility within a complex, high-impact organization. As Senior Director - Operational Planning & Performance, you will help translate strategic priorities into coordinated operating plans, enabling leaders across the business to align around shared goals, track progress, and support strong execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual and periodic enterprise planning cycles, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives, business plans, and operational priorities.
  • Develop and implement robust performance management frameworks, KPIs, and reporting processes across multiple business units.
  • Establish governance structures and planning methodologies that support effective execution and accountability.
  • Partner with senior functional leaders to align business priorities, resolve dependencies, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Design and maintain executive-level performance dashboards and reporting tools to provide clear visibility into organizational performance.
  • Monitor progress against agreed objectives and key results (OKRs), balanced scorecards, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide executive leadership with actionable insights, analysis, and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning, reporting, and performance management processes.
  • Coordinate enterprise-wide reviews, performance discussions, and governance meetings with leadership stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of performance data, metrics, and reporting across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience leading operational planning, performance management, or strategic execution functions.
  • Experience leading enterprise planning cycles and establishing performance frameworks across multiple business units.
  • Strong experience aligning priorities across business units and senior functional leaders.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise planning tools, KPI and performance dashboards, and executive reporting in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working within a large-scale consultancy environment, such as McKinsey, BCG, or Accenture.
  • Familiarity with OKRs, balanced scorecards, strategic planning cycles, or PMO-style governance frameworks.
