About this role

Senior Estimator / Assistant Manager (Full-Time)

Join Our Team

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator / Assistant Manager to join our growing collision repair facility. This leadership role is ideal for someone who combines strong estimating expertise with excellent customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to help lead daily shop operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting the management team, coordinating repairs, and ensuring jobs move efficiently from estimate to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify all collision damage.
  • Communicate with customers throughout the repair process, providing timely updates and managing expectations.
  • Work with insurance companies, adjusters, and vendors to facilitate repair approvals and supplements.
  • Review repair plans with technicians to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with scheduling repairs and managing shop workflow.
  • Support daily operations and help maintain production goals, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in supervising front office and production staff as required.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company and insurer requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an automotive collision estimator.
  • Previous leadership or management experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Proficiency with estimating software such as Mitchell, Audatex, or CCC ONE.
  • Strong understanding of collision repair procedures, OEM repair standards, and insurance processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills and administrative abilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
