What you'll do
- Lead the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions.
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to identify project requirements and commercial opportunities.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and value engineering solutions.
- Develop and implement tender strategies that maximise bid success while maintaining profitability.
- Identify project risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures during the pre-construction phase.
- Analyse market conditions, labour availability, and material cost trends to support pricing decisions.
- Manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Collaborate closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure a smooth handover of successful projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
- Support the continuous improvement of estimating processes and procedures within the business.
