We are exclusively partnering with a highly respected and well-established Belfast law firm to appoint a Senior Family Law Solicitor to lead and further develop its Family Law Department.

The Role

As Head of Family, you will play a key role in leading and developing the Family Law Department, while continuing to manage a high-quality caseload of complex and sensitive matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied and complex Family Law caseload
• Advising clients on sensitive and high-value matters
• Providing leadership, guidance and support to colleagues
• Helping shape the strategic direction and continued growth of the department
• Developing strong relationships with clients and professional referrers
• Contributing to the wider success and development of the practice

About You

We are keen to speak with experienced Family Law Solicitors who are looking to take on greater responsibility and progress into a leadership role.

You will ideally have:

• Strong technical expertise across Family Law
• Experience handling complex and sensitive matters
• Excellent client management and communication skills
• A commercial and proactive approach
• The ability to lead, mentor and support colleagues
• An interest in developing and growing a successful Family Law practice

Previous management or supervisory experience would be advantageous, but is not essential for candidates who can demonstrate the experience and leadership capability to step into the role.
