Your ability to solve problems in real-time, collaborate with field and office teams, and maintain accurate project documentation will be critical to project success. Essential Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day field operations and construction activities
- Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and project managers
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance
- Assist in planning and sequencing of work activities
- Track project progress and maintain accurate field reports and documentation
- Participate in quality control inspections and ensure standards are met
- Identify and resolve field issues in collaboration with project teams
- Assist with procurement, material tracking, and logistics coordination
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and promote a safety-first culture
- Support cost tracking, change management, and quantity tracking
- Participate in project meetings and planning sessions
Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of experience in heavy civil construction or related field
- Engineering Degree or Technology Diploma
- Strong understanding of construction practices and field operations
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with project management and reporting tools
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in Excel and field reporting systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced field environment
