The team

This position will be part of the team building the next generation user interface for managing Hitachi Vantara storage and AI products. The team focuses on developing software solutions that provide intuitive and efficient management experiences for customers. Working with modern frontend technologies and software development practices, the team contributes to building scalable, secure, and high-quality applications that support Hitachi Vantara’s innovative data infrastructure solutions.

The role

As a Micro Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing next-generation user interfaces for Hitachi Vantara storage and AI products. You will work as an expert TypeScript/JavaScript developer with significant experience in Micro Frontend frameworks and design. The role involves applying software development best practices, developing secure and scalable frontend solutions, implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, and contributing to frontend architecture decisions. You will work with React and Angular, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrate with REST APIs, and use your expertise in frontend design and architecture to help shape the next generation of management software for Hitachi Vantara.

What you’ll bring

• Expert-level experience in TypeScript/JavaScript development.

• Significant experience with Micro Frontend frameworks and architectures.

• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, including microservices.

• Proficiency in implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.

• Experience with both React and Angular development.

• 8+ years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Demonstrated ability to set up and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Experience with REST APIs.

• Experience with CSS.

• Strong frontend design and architecture skills.
