What you'll do
- Conduct weekly bank and high-volume account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain ledger integrity.
- Prepare and post complex journal entries, maintain the chart of accounts, and ensure proper classification of all financial transactions.
- Execute and verify invoice processing, employee expense reimbursements, and collection tracking.

- Prepare clear supporting documentation and schedules for internal/external auditors and calculate/prepare regulatory tax filings (VAT and withholding taxes).

Job Objective
Our success at Sahl relies directly on the accuracy of our financial records. We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who brings technical precision to daily accounting processes and works well with teams across the business.
In this role, you will be the hands-on expert responsible for day-to-day ledger accuracy, account reconciliations, and tax compliance. You will serve as a reliable point of contact between accounting and other departments, helping keep processes smooth and transparent while consistently hitting reporting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Core Reconciliations: Conduct weekly bank and high-volume account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain ledger integrity.
General Ledger & Journal Entries: Prepare and post complex journal entries, maintain the chart of accounts, and ensure proper classification of all financial transactions.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Support: Execute and verify invoice processing, employee expense reimbursements, and collection tracking.
Fixed Asset Accounting: Maintain the fixed asset register, accurately recording asset additions, disposals, and monthly depreciation schedules.
