Senior HR Business Partner Logistics Nordics

We are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner for our Logistics Nordic Business Unit, with the opportunity to influence leadership decisions, drive strategic HR initiatives, and ensure our People priorities support the business strategy.

Logistics Nordics spans all Nordic countries and Baltics and has more than 1,000 employees across a wide range of logistics activities, including warehousing, cross-docking, trailer transports and shipping logistics.

The position is based in Gothenburg, with some travel, primarily within Northern Europe.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor to the Head of the Business Unit and senior leaders across Logistics Nordics.

As a member of the BU leadership team, you will translate business strategy into actionable people priorities and drive strategic initiatives within areas such as organizational design, change management, and acquisitions. You will work closely with senior leaders across the business as well as the Nordic & Baltic HR Service Delivery team.

You will report directly to the VP and Head of HR Business Partnering Logistics.

Your key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to align the People agenda and HR initiatives with business priorities

• Lead and optimize core People processes, including performance management, salary review, talent and succession planning, and engagement

• Lead M&A and divestment activities as well as strategic projects related to organizational design and change

• Act as a change agent, embedding People initiatives and new ways of working across the business

• Support and coach senior leaders in HR processes, leadership matters, and compliance

• Identify capability and development needs in line with DFDS’ L&D strategy

• Use people data and insights to support decision-making and resource allocation

About you

We expect that you bring:

• A strong HR toolbox and at least 8 years of relevant HR experience from an international company

• Solid strategic HR experience and a proven ability to partner with and influence senior leaders

• Preferably you have leadership experience

• Strong project management capabilities and experience leading complex, cross-functional HR initiatives

• A data-driven and analytical mindset, with advanced Excel skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures and functions

• You are strong in building trust, and have a courageous advocate mindset to challenge and influence senior leadership decisions
