Overview

If you're an experienced Human Factors professional with a strong track record in high-hazard industries and enjoy applying your expertise across a diverse range of sectors, you'll have the opportunity to work within genuinely collaborative and supportive teams while benefiting from the flexibility needed to balance the commitments that matter to you.

The AtkinsRéalis Human Factors team has an established presence across multiple UK locations, including London, Bristol, Manchester and Derby. Our team delivers meaningful and engaging work across a variety of high-hazard industries, including Nuclear, Rail, Defence and Infrastructure. As a Senior Consultant, you will play an important role in delivering impactful projects, applying a broad range of Human Factors methodologies while building and strengthening relationships with both AtkinsRéalis colleagues and external clients. We welcome applications from experienced Human Factors professionals who are motivated by leading project delivery, developing client relationships and contributing to the continued growth and success of our Human Factors capability.

This role offers much more than project delivery alone. You will contribute to the ongoing growth and development of our Human Factors team while helping to support the professional progression of junior colleagues. Your role

As a Senior member of our Human Factors team, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining trusted relationships with major operators and engineering organisations across our core sectors. You will also contribute to the strategy and direction of our dynamic team of Human Factors professionals while supporting the continued development and leadership of our technical capability.

Typical assignments may include:

  • Leading Human Factors and Ergonomics work packages for clients.
  • Managing technical delivery in line with project programmes and objectives.
  • Acting as the technical lead for Human Factors activities across projects.
  • Contributing to AtkinsRéalis bids, proposals and strategic initiatives.

You are likely to bring:
