Senior Java Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who can independently lead end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise applications. This role demands strong technical leadership, the ability to translate client requirements into scalable solutions, and experience mentoring and guiding development teams. This role will serve as the technical point of contact for stakeholders, drive architectural decisions, and ensure high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

 - Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade Java applications

 - Understand and refine client requirements through direct stakeholder engagement

 - Own technical architecture decisions and ensure alignment with business goals

 - Lead and mentor a team of developers — conduct code reviews, set coding standards, and drive best practices

 - Plan sprints, estimate effort, and manage delivery timelines

 - Design and develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and service-oriented architectures

 - Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability

 - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps) to ensure seamless delivery

 - Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis

 - Evaluate and introduce tools, frameworks, and patterns that improve team productivity

Skills & Qualifications

 Must Have:

 - 7–8 years of hands-on experience in Core Java and Advanced Java (Java 8+)

 - Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security

 - Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures

 - Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle) — query optimization, schema design

 - Solid understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture

 - Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile delivery

 - Proven track record of leading teams (3–8 members) and delivering projects end-to-end

 - Strong client-facing communication skills — ability to gather requirements, present solutions, and manage expectations

 Good to Have:

 - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) — EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3

 - Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

 - Exposure to message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)

 - Experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and application servers (Tomcat, JBoss)

 - Knowledge of frontend frameworks (Angular/React) for full-stack context
