Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially minded, and capable of operating with a high degree of independence.

Key Responsibilities & Attributes

• Commercial Mindset: Highly proactive, organized, and commercially minded with strong business acumen.
• Transaction Management: Capable of independently running significant transactions and workstreams end-to-end.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Able to interface directly with senior internal stakeholders and external counsel.
• Sound Judgment: Excellent commercial judgment with the ability to distinguish matters requiring General Counsel escalation from those that can be resolved independently.
• Proactive Ownership: Actively identifies key areas where Legal involvement is required and takes full ownership rather than waiting for work allocation.
• Drafting & Negotiation: Strong commercial/transactional drafting and negotiation skill set.
• Industry Experience: Background in technology, telecommunications, SaaS, or related sectors is preferred.
• Work Authorization: Right to work in Singapore without requiring company sponsorship is preferred.

The defining characteristic for this role is ownership: taking matters off the desk and returning with actionable solutions, recommendations, and clearly identified escalation points.
